Short version: we use what you share to quote and service insurance. We never sell it.
Who we are
The Insurance Collective is a consumer insurance platform operated by Roscommon Insurance Group, an independent insurance agency licensed in Michigan. When this policy says “we”, it means both.
What we collect
Information you provide to request options or ask a question: contact details, ZIP code, household, vehicle, property, business, and profession information, and policy details you choose to share. We also record the page you sent a request from, campaign parameters in the link you arrived on, and technical details needed to keep the site working and safe.
How it is used
To route your request to the right market, quote with the insurance companies and programs we work with, service your policies, help with claims, and send communications you asked for. That is the list.
Sharing
With insurance companies, specialty programs and partner programs solely to quote and service your insurance, and with service providers that operate the platform on our behalf. Where a partner program serves you, that page names the partner before you are connected. We share with regulators and others where the law requires. We never sell personal information.
Security and retention
Access is limited to staff who need it to serve you. Sensitive answers are encrypted at rest. We keep records for as long as insurance regulation and service require.
